2025 positions available:
MC/HOST
The MC/HOST will greet customers, work in our snack bar, usher customers at boarding, and, most importantly, be the opening/closing MC for the Blazing Fiddles in our auditorium. The Blazing Fiddles perform for 150 people/day, Tuesday to Friday, in our auditorium before guests embark on their lunch cruise.
Ideal position for someone who is a people person, doesn't mind talking in front of a crowd and has a few corny jokes in their back pocket.

WAIT STAFF
Are you someone who enjoys working as a team and with the public, can multi-task and doesn't mind working in various summer weather conditions? Our meal is served banquet style on board our 3 dinner cruise boats. Wait staff will be required to assist in setting up tables, plating and serving the meal, clearing tables, washing dishes, bartending (if over 18).

BAKERY/KITCHEN ASSISTANT
Do you enjoy baking and would like experience in baking in a more professional environment? We are looking for a person to assist our baker and cook in food preparation and baking activities. Duties could include mixing and rolling pie dough, prepping and cutting vegetables, and cleaning dishes.
Must work well unsupervised and have excellent multi-tasking skills. Ideal for a person looking for a longstanding seasonal position.

CUSTODIAN/MAINTENANCE
We are looking for a person to look after the general upkeep and maintenance of our grounds and buildings. This person will perform routine custodial duties, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping and trash removal, along with general repairs.
Ideal position for a retired person who is capable of troubleshooting maintenance issues and performing basic repairs, including light carpentry and minor plumbing.

BOAT CLEANER/LAWN MAINTENANCE
Ideal for high school students. This person will clean our 3 dinner cruise boats either early morning or after school. Duties include vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning windows, wiping down tables, and cleaning bathrooms. If the person has experience riding lawnmowers, this position could include grass cutting. Must be reliable and work well unsupervised.

BOAT CAPTAIN
Ideal for a semi-retired/retired person who enjoys working with the public and the outdoors. The boat captain provides a narration during the cruise while safely piloting the boat and dealing directly with customers and crew. You must enjoy public speaking, work well as a team and be prepared to work under pressure. A rewarding and fulfilling position for someone who is looking for a longstanding summer seasonal position.

Boating experience on a pleasure craft is ideal however practical, first aid and marine safety training will be provided before becoming certified with Transport Canada.

Shifts can vary from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m or 11 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
